Description

MAS will conduct a free public observing night, in collaboration with the Observatory Director Dr Bhathal, at Campbelltown Rotary Observatory, Macarthur Heights (behind the University).

Stargazing Hours

It is best to arrive at the Observatory at least thirty minutes after sunset, when it begins to gets dark.

Our closing time will be determined by weather conditions and the the number of visitors remaining in attendance.

Weather

Stargazing is weather permitting. Closer to the date we will post a weather outlook here. If conditions are in doubt due to inclement weather, please check this page for announcements before leaving home.

The event is predominantly outdoors in an exposed location, so please bring very warm clothing.
