Description

If you have a passion for the outdoors and growing plants and would love to pick up some new skills, then our Native Nursery at Home program is perfect for you. As part of this program you will learn how to gather, prepare and grow local native plant-seed to put back into the bush.

Our monthly workshops will look into the many different aspects of raising native plants, from gathering and storing local seed-stock to propagating seeds, including the proper care and maintenance of seedlings and the equipment required. You will also learn about the diverse native habitats of Campbelltown and why they are so important.

Our Native Nursery workshops will be held on the first Saturday of each month by the Blair Athol Community Hall – following with some morning Bushcare at the adjacent John Kidd Reserve.

Experience isn’t necessary to attend these events as you will be provided with all the training you need.

Be sure to register your interest before attending one of our workshops here.
