Don't you hate that? I was driving down to Wollongong for a surf on Saturday morning at dawn. It was a picture perfect morning in itself, but add to the scene, low in the sky, where the muted blues, purples and oranges mix for a sublime backdrop - two hot air balloons. OMG it was stunning! Through the pasture land on Appin Road I drove, taking mental pictures only I'm afraid... no camera. It's always the way isn't it. The photos in my head are as good as any coffee table book of lanscape shots from anywhere in the world. If you enjoy photography, dawn is the time of the day which offers the most potential for nature to show off. The hot air ballloons just completed the picture... Wow!
