When I visited Ruane on Sunday, I noticed two young blokes sitting, chatting away from the cellar door with a glass of wine each in hand. Later they were joined by a few more people who shared their bottle. When I asked John and Marilyn who they were they laughed and told me the story. Apparently Brenton and Jeremy ran out from Menangle (yes just for exercise) before being joined by family and friends for the wine tasting. A change of clothes, good company and bottle of Ruane Chardonnay... well yes, they got a lift back. The boys obviously live by the yin and yang mantra.
