Trattoria La Vigna

Brooke and I dined at Trattoria La Vigna on State of Origin I night. Remember the night - classic Winter (in Autumn), raining, cold, windy. Gianni showed us to our table. Pole position, smack bang in front of the fire! Perfect. It was a great dining experience with a couple of highlights: My steak was one of the best I have had in our district. I don't order steak very often in a restaurant. This rib eye was outstanding and expertly cooked. Highly recommended. The other was dessert - Order Tartufo Al Cioccolato - it is amazing! A sample rtrio of white, milk and dark chocolate desserts on large plate. Wow! The three of them combine in your mouth for a party of flavours and creamy textures. Order this for dessert! Based on this night I would place Trattoria La Vigna in the highly recommended category. Try it out this winter. Book early so you can get close to the open fire.
