Another great Macarthur Weekend

Magneto and I had a great weekend just gone. We started on Friday night with a few drinks with friends at Rydges Campbelltown's Infusion Bar. Drinks turned into dinner. We shared a couple of entrees - Squid stuffed with spinach and ricotta, and Prawns Provencale. Around the table our mains were Duck breast in Honey and Mustard, Angus Scotch Fillet and Lamb Shanks. It was a lovely night. I got home on Saturday evening after watching Campbelltown Harlequin Rugby's 1st XV comfortably account for St Patrick’s of Strathfield in the Kentwell Cup. We headed over to Events Cinemas at 6.30pm to buy tickets for a late screening of 'Get Hime to the Greek'. An error on the internet saw us changing our plans at the ticket office. "'Grown Ups' at 7.15pm it is then." We rushed back to the ever dependable Thai Splendid for a quick dinner. We walked into the cinema as the the movie began. Perfect. Afterwards, we walked up to Macarthur Tavern for a few drinks. The crowd was largely well dressed and 'nice' with a DJ adding atmosphere. Another very enjoyable night - all in walking distance from my Park Central home.
