Posted: Monday, 22 November 2010, 02:45 PM
Celebrate the start of the festive season at the 2010 Campbelltown Christmas Carols, and join in a chorus of talented community performers and star-studded children’s entertainment. The free event will be held at Campbelltown Art Centre’s outdoor amphitheatre on Saturday 4 December, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. This year’s event will feature on stage performances by popular children’s character, Dorothy the Dinosaur, as well as appearances by Poppie the Elf, and a special visit from Santa. The winners of the Celebrating Christmas with Dorothy drawing competition will also be announced on the night. A variety of talented local performers will take to the stage, including Odyssey House Choir, Sweet Tonic and C4 Choir, as well as various school groups including Ingleburn Public School, Campbelltown Public School and Ambarvale Public School. The evening will culminate with the lighting of the giant Community Christmas Tree. Take your picnic rug for a night the whole family will love.
