The practice of forest bathing, also called forest therapy, involves no bathing and isn't led by a therapist but a trained, certified guide.
In Japan, the practice is decades old and known as shinrin- yoku, which means 'taking in the forest.' Forest Bathing is proven to reduce stress hormone production, improve feelings of happiness and free up creativity, as well as lower heart rate, blood pressure and boost the immune system.
Experience this brand new sensory experience, where a Dharawal National Park Guide will help you explore the park with all five of your senses. It is simply being in nature and connecting with it through our senses of sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch.
