In Macarthur Magazine

Well it seemed like that. Giant shopping Centre Macarthur Square opened on New Year's Day for the first time. It caught everyone by surprise. Like everyone else, I assumed Mac Square would be closed on this holiday... no! I was informed mid morning by a retail worker. I walked up around lunchtime to get something eat. There could not been more than a few hundred people throughout the centre. I think there were more extremely bored retailers than there were shoppers. Ironically, most of the restaurants down at Kellicar Lane were not open. Luckily Panarottis and Mustang Spur were trading... and air conditioned. I had Nachos and Chicken Wings at Mustang Spur. Mmmmm so tasty for my slightly hungover body. I am sure next year more people will know about the new trading day at Macarthur Square. It really was an odd sight with so few people around.
