I was driving back from Wollongong to Ruane Wines at Menangle on Sunday and drove down across the weir at the base of Pheasants Nest Bridge. I was happy to see many locals using the Nepean on a very warm summer morning. There were people swimming and many more kayaking and canoing. We have a few rivers meandering through our district. We really should make your use of the beauty that surrounds us.
