Restaurants that take the opportunity for a break over the Christmas period must be reconsidering their decision given the boom for those restaurants open this year. I visited Thai Centric on the first Saturday of 2010. The place was packed and they were turning tables over too! Our lovely waitress told me about an amazing New Year's Eve. "We did not have enough tables," she gushed. "Next year we will have more." Apparently the whole Centric complex was abuzz on a night not usually known as a great restaurant night. Similar story over at Kellicar Lane, Macarthur Square too. Their holiday period has been extremely busy. Things are changing in our district.
