After a number of years out of local calculations, the iconic Camden Estate Wines have returned to the market with their famous chardonnay. I attended the launch of the 2011 vintage at Camden Valley Inn recently. Besides the fact that it poured down with rain most of the night, we all had a lovely time wining and dining in the marquee. The food was fantastic and the latest chardonnay is a beauty. Subtle flavours make it a sure fire mainstream hit. If you like sauv blanc or pinot gris, I am sure you will like this wine.
