Japanese squared!

Posted: Sunday, 4 March 2012, 10:25 AM

I visited Kochukaru at Mount Annan Shopping village (Coles) with my kids in February. It is a very casual little restaurant with great food. All pretty simple but fresh and tasty. Since then we visited Haruki Japanese Fusion Restaurant at Murray Street Camden. Haruki is a full blown licensed restaurant. The menu is far more complex but the food retains the simplicy and freshness the Japanese are famous for. Both are great and both are set apart by their respective intents. Kochukaru is a great little BYO for any night of the week. Haruki is far more up market. This is a place you could take anyone and they would be impressed.
