Razorback Ridge Wines cellar door is open each weekend in Dawson Road, just off Finns Road Menangle.The cellar door is be open from 11am til 4pm. I visited on the rainy weekend just gone. The vineyard planting commenced in 2000 and now includes Chardonnay, Verdelho, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz varieties. We took away a bottle of their award-winning 2009 Rose and the 2009 Chardonnay. Winemaker Richard allowed me to sample his new Verdelho out of the vat, which seems like it will be absolute ripper in years to come. Make the short trek to Razorback Ridge. Highly Recommended!
