Australian pop sensation Jessica Mauboy will introduce a special screening of The Sapphires on Tuesday, 4 September at Event Cinemas Campbelltown.

The Sapphires follows four singers from a remote Aboriginal mission, who are discovered by an unlikely talent scout. Australia’s answer to The Supremes, the women embark on an opportunity of a lifetime to entertain troops in Vietnam. Their journey offers them not only the chance to show off their musical skills, but find love and togetherness. Inspired by a true story and starring Deborah Mailman, Jessica Mauboy and Chris O’Dowd, The Sapphires combines comedy, heart and romance with unbeatable soul music.

Jessica Mauboy will introduce the film with the screening commencing at 7pm. Guests will also have the chance to purchase The Sapphires soundtrack after the event and get it signed by Jessica herself.

Tickets can be purchased online at eventcinemas.com.au or at the Event Cinemas Campbelltown box office. Tickets are only $12 (Plus online booking fee) and includes pre-film performance by Jessica Mauboy.
