Science in the Wild

National Science Week will be hitting Macarthur in a big way in August with two huge events at the Australian Botanic Garden. First up is Science in the Wild on SUNDAY AUGUST 13 from 10am to 3pm. Dinosaurs will once again roam the Garden, The Nutty Scientists will be teaching science through fun experiments, there’ll be frogs, snakes, wildlife and even a 5m long great white shark visiting the Garden for the event.
Then the following weekend the award-winning Australian PlantBank will be open to the public on SATURDAY AUGUST 19 from 11am to 3pm and will include tours, activities, science demonstrations and a day full of seeds, slime, rainforests, rocks, reptiles, insects and so much more. Prizes for the best science themed outfit.
