Salute Ingleburn RSL

The people of the northern suburbs of Campbelltown live in a bit if a dining desert. A few oases exist but in general anyone interested in good food does a fair bit of driving. A $2 million refurbishment puts Ingleburn RSL on the foodies' map. Wonderfully clean, stylish surroundings, good food and solid wine list make Salute Restaurant a highly recommended destination for a midweek "Mum's not cooking tonight" dinner. You will be very surprised. I dined at Salute with two other foodies Bob and Margaret Hughes. We sampled Risotto, pizza and pasta. All were not only enjoyable recipes, but also expertly cooked. Al dente pasta, the risotto was light and moist but not gluggy and the woodfire oven pizza was excellent. The food here means something to the staff, Rob has instilled that pride. Well done to everyone involved in this makeover and reinvigoration of Ingleburn RSL. A very nice new venue.
